Architectural Specification

Aluminium sections are extruded from aluminium alloy 6060T6, T5 or T4 complying with the recommendations of:

BS EN 12020-2: 2001 / BS EN 755-9: 2001. 


Powder coating is applied to BS6496 using Syntha Pulvin or Interpon powder with guarantees up to 30 years (dependant on location and site conditions). 


Colours can be chosen from our standard RAL or BS range and metallic or special colours are available upon request. 


Glass can be provided in a wide range of different combinations either single, double or triple glazed. 


Antisun glass is available in bronze, grey, green or blue tints. Low E glass is usually supplied to meet the required U Values and there are options of hard or soft coatings available. 


Argon gas is used to fill the cavities on double glazed units as standard. Toughened or laminated safety glass is used in critical locations for the requirement of BS 6262. 


All double glazed units are manufactured to BS EN 1279. 


Toughened safety glass is manufactured to BS EN 12600:2002. 


We have a wide range of different hardware options for all of our products including hinges, handles, trickle ventilators, door closers and thresholds.
